Arnie Clayman recognized with Emeritus Status of LTPAC HIT Collaborative

The LTPAC HIT Collaborative is proud to recognize Arnold “Arnie” Clayman, PD, FASCP, as an Emeritus Member of the LTPAC HIT Collaborative. For well over a decade, Arnie has generously shared his knowledge and insights with our Collaborative and the broader long-term and post-acute care (LTPAC) sector.

Arnie has been an impactful and engaged member of the Collaborative through his leadership as Vice President of Pharmacy Practice and Government Affairs at the American Society of Consultant Pharmacists (ASCP). He consistently elevated our discussions on pharmacist and medication management issues, including industry standards and innovations such as e-prescribing and the pharmacist e-care plan. His strategic insight has helped shape key initiatives across the industry, influencing how technology and clinical practice come together to support individuals served in LTPAC settings.

Throughout his career, Arnie has been a strong voice for pharmacists and the integral role they play insafe, effective, and coordinated care across the continuum. His work has supported the advancement of medication-related standards and innovations that directly benefit older adults and individuals with complex care needs in LTPAC.

Arnie’s impact has been recognized through multiple national honors, including the George F. Archambault Award and the Richard S. Berman Service Award. These recognitions reflect his longstanding commitment to advancing consultant pharmacy, medication management, and the effective use of health IT to improve carequality and safety.

By designating Arnold “Arnie” Clayman, PD, FASCP, as an Emeritus Member, the LTPAC HIT Collaborative honors both his distinguished achievements and his ongoing influence as a trusted advisor, mentor, and thought leader.
